OUCH - My ears hurt!!

It looked like my time was going to be limited due to work schedule, so K4MA was going to help out with a multi-single. As it turns out, Jim's work schedule intervened and he wasn't able to come over. I guess the entry class then changes to Unlimited, even though I used M precedent? I need to get a ruling from KX9X on how to send the entry in.

Due to some faulty lightning arrestors in my area, the line noise was bad on all bands. It made this contest even more of a chore than usual, but I wanted to stay in the chair if I could. It was obvious I was getting behind in rate, but the wierd thing about SS is that if you get behind, there is almost no way to catch up in QSOs. It would seem that you would eventually work the stations, but it's not the case. This would make an interesting research thesis for statistics types.
