[PVRCNC] Another SS Exchange Question

Yeah, somebody did that to me as well. It really throws you off if you don't 
get to verify the call or have that time between the Nr/Pr and the 
Ck/Section to get it all logged. Not to mention that per the rules it is not 
a valid exchange without the call.

Hopefully we will not hear any PVRC members committing that atrocity.

History for the younger generation (certainly not a BPL veteran like you, 
Jack) the SS exchange is a variation on the standard header for radiograms 
originated in the NTS and always includes the callsign of the originating 
station. Part of the reason I like SS is that the exchange still does have 
some variables that need to be copied by the operator and require some cw 
skill, despite some users of call history databases trying to "dumb it 
down".
