If anyone has ever purchased anything from Burghardt, you know that Jim
provided excellent Customer Service.   I purchased the Yaesu FT 857 in my
truck from Jim.

Burghardt Amateur Center Inc will now be called Burghardt Radio Repair Inc
and will no longer sell amateur radio transceivers and accessories. All
backorders have been cancelled. 

The current economic conditions have caused us to re-evaluate our goals and
direction. We will continue to provide radio repair service as it has become
a very busy business. Thank you for your support in the past and look
forward to continuing our relationships through our servicing facility.
