[PVRCNC] ARRL miffed

The new ARRL "Triple Play" award for 2009 was supposed to be a challenge. 
One is supposed to collect 50 QSL's for CW, Phone, and digital via LOTW.

W2YC completed it by January 15th.  At least a half dozen also have by now.

ARRL RTTY plus CW and SSB NAQP contests were all that were necessary.

I suspect the ARRL is miffed by contesters capturing the award so quickly. 
My guess is that the award was aimed for the ,non-contester, common man. 

Triple Play DXCC anyone?
