[PVRCNC] PVRC-NC East Chapter - August and September Schedule Notice

Hola!

First, a big welcome to AA4XX and EA5DFV.  Both Paul and Jose attended 
their second meetings and became NC East chapter PVRC members at the 
July meeting.  Welcome to the group.

Please be advised that the August 6th meeting will be held per the 
normal schedule. Same time, same place, same yada-yada-yada.

However - The September 2009 regularly scheduled meeting of the NC East 
chapter has been eliminated. It has been irregularly unscheduled and 
erased.    We are not sure which gulag it has been banished to, but it 
has been disappeared.  It is no more.  You can still go and have dinner 
at Manchesters' on that day, but don't expect a lot of company.

Please note that the BBQ being hosted by N1YXU and N1LN at the end of 
August will serve as an excellent substitute, and the September date is 
also perilously near the following holiday weekend.  Resulting in 
several known absences on September 3rd.  Wining about not being 
informed will be forevermore ridiculed mercilessly.

Additionally, please let Bruce know if you are planning to attend his 
BBQ to allow him some lead time on making preparations.  Advance notice 
will probably be most appropriate.  Telling them after you park in his 
drive might be less useful.

Regular meetings will resume on October 1st, so that we might again 
inspire another Sweepstakes grassroots movement.  Our group has done a 
great job contributing significantly to the club score over the past 
several years.
