Thanks for all the notes of encouragement!

I made it home a couple of hours ago.  The good news is that the procedure was not as bad as I feared it might be.  The bad news is that I have some blockages that will have to be corrected with bypass surgery.  The docs have not scheduled the surgery yet, so I guess they don't feel I am going to explode anytime soon!  My appointment with the surgeon is October 9, so the surgery will be sometime after that.

Guess this puts an end to my "meatatarian" diet!
