Brian,

Interesting idea.  I would suggest that you address the message directly to 
Wayne, Eric, Lyle, etc. and not post it on the Elecraft reflector.  I expect 
that it would start a long thread that would eventually go off-course and force
 
Elecraft to stop the thread.  Plus, there may be some hurt feelings generated.

I do not have an "in" with anyone at Elecraft, but it might be a good idea to 
enlist Bill, W4ZV in this effort.
