[PVRCNC] "Morning After" humor

I've been chuckling to myself this morning over an exchange on 75 last
night.
I noticed that another run station was really qrm'ing the weak stations
calling me. I asked one to standby and listened to find a station CQ'ing
about 600 hz below. I slid down and politely asked him to please move down a
bit.
He apologized but said he was sorry, he really couldn't do that as the
station below him had just asked him to move up!
He was so plaintive about having no where to go, for a split second I
thought maybe I should push the next guy up, but needing to get back to my
run I didn't take time to explain that maybe there just wasn't room for him
in the gap.
He kept CQ'ing for a couple minutes but when my TX developed this strange
problem of jumping to the second VFO about 400hz down every other CQ, he
moved off. And my tx stayed on freq after that! (I must report that
phenomenon to Ten-Tec).
