         Antennas : C3 @45', dipoles

          Soapbox : Saturday I couldn't buy a run on 40m, so headed 
to 80m early and spent most of the evening there. Rates weren't great, 
but better than S&P. Sunday was the usual grind. Never heard ND, MB, 
NWT, or NL. Sunday afternoon my fun meter was pegged, so went into 
casual mode and picked up what I could. AK was the last mult I found. 
Didn't hear one all weekend, and sat down at the rig after taking a 
break and there was a KL7 CQ'ing on frequency. Something about blind 
squirrels and nuts applies. Part of the pleasure of SS, for me,  is 
running across friends. Good to hear so many PVRC calls. Let's do 
this again in a couple of weeks.
