[PVRCNC] radial wire

I bought the same wire as Barry(K4CZ) did a while back and have decided not to put up my two
verticals.

So I would like to sell it, Its over a mile of two conductor.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1 MILE OF WD-1A FIELD WIRE, I HAVE OVER 150 MILES AND CAN CUT ORDERS UP TO 6
MILES LONG WITH NO SPLICES. THIS IS NEW WIRE 2 CONDUCTOR...4 STRAND COPPER TIN COATED WITH 3 STRANDS
GALV STEEL. WEIGHT PER MILE IS APPROX 40 LBS AND HAS A TEST STRENGTH OF 200 LB 

I bid $60 and got it plus $35 in shipping. I can bring it to the meeting Thursday if somebody wants
it..

Subject: [PVRCNC] PVRN-NC East summer picnic

If you were at the last meeting of the  PVRC-NC East, you heard that Laurie
and I volunteered (?) to host a summer picnic at our house.   After checking
the calendar for vacations, holidays, and...contests - we determined that
Saturday, July 19th would be a good day.   The long range weather forecast
indicates we will actually have weather that day..just no clue as to how
good or bad.   Time will tell.

Before we get into the actual picnic planning details, we wanted to try to
determine how many people would be attending.   After we get an approximate
count, we will then work on the menu, activities, etc.    NOTE:  We will NOT
be doing any tower work that day, so this is not a tower party disguised as a picnic :-)

This is not a members only picnic, so please bring along your husband, wife, or significant other.
(NO PETS)  Also, as we are somewhat space limited, so we would appreciate you not bringing along the
kids.

Time:  14:00 - 19:00
Location:  3233 Gait Way, Chapel Hill, NC - 27516 (we will send driving instructions later but if
interested now, check out google maps)
