Very part time 0200-0430 Fri. 0130-0400 Sat. My "activity monitor" in the 
house is a VX-7 HT  tuned to SWL 1.82 mhz AM. When I hear N4CW blasting 
through and running 'em at a good rate (Bert's a couple miles away), it's 
time to think about going out to the shack and turning on the heater!

A good run for about 1.5 hrs Friday, almost all eastern US/Canada kept the 
average up. Otherwise S&P and excruciating attempts to work DX even though 
conditions were very good. At least a few EU had good enough ears, with 
numerous repeats, to hear 100W with a 75' apex inverted V. It was even more 
frustrating to  copy so many Q5 with the Orion-beverage combo and the only 
response being "CQ TEST". Looking forward to having big antenna and 1500W 
backup for ARRL DX at NY4A!
