I think everybody has already summed up the lousy conditions.  At times during the
heavy snow bands here in Harnett Co, the noise floor was 10 to 20 over 9 with higher
crashes.  I thought I was going to go deaf a few times trying to work weak stations.
After shortening my 160m dipole about 6ft per side Friday night, the ole 1000mp 
handled the tuning where it counted.  I got loads of killer signal reports on 40m,
80m and 160m. Most contacts reported that I was 20 over 9.  Looks like the antennas
are performing well, so now for a better receive antenna on 80m and 160m.  Yea!
