PVRCNC members:

I hope your 2008 is going well so far. I wanted to thank everyone for
the enthusiastic welcome and great turnout for our first meeting of
2008. If we get many more attending, we'll have to expand to a larger
meeting room (which is a real good thing!). Hopefully this wasn't a
fluke due to the rumor that W0UCE was spreading that K4TMC's K3 was to
be given away as a door prize! :>)

In an effort to "check the pulse" of the group, I'd be interested in
your feedback on how you feel things are going. What do you like/not
like about our meetings / activities, etc. I'd like to hear your ideas
for interesting programs for meetings and also some ideas for activities
outside of our monthly meetings. For example, would anyone be interested
in activities such as a VHF contest mountain camping trip? DXpedition to
St. Barts (with a legal call sign)? Team participation in HF contests?
Mobile operations in the NC QSO Party? Hamfests, ??

We have a very wide range of member types these days with a lot of new
blood coming into the group. I'd like to harness the enthusiasm that I
see especially in the newer folks to stimulate some of us (like myself)
who have not been as active in the recent past. It's YOUR club. What do
you want to do with it?
