Hello

After significant deliberation and agonizing, I have elected to sell my 'spare' Yagi.

This is a Force12 C36XR 4 band beam. The design is a C19XR ten element, 20-15-10, plus a 2 element Delta 240 linear-loaded 40 Yagi ... all on the same boom. The antenna includes two Cal-Av EB-1 baluns:

The C36XR uses two feedlines, one for the tribander section and another for the 40m. The antenna has been superseded by the C39XR, three feet longer, with a slightly different arrangement for 15m. (I think this one is better.) The C39XR sells for well over $2k.

My antenna is "stored" on my tower at 40' just above the lower guys and fixed-aimed west on a sidearm. "Stored" isn't the right term, really. It is hooked up to the master switch at the tower, and can be demonstrated on the air.

Ironically, W4DG in Tampa is selling this exact antenna, right now, for $1200.

I would take $800 from a PVRC member.

Huh? Is there a catch? Yes; two.

(1) Whoever buys this needs to help me take it down, and take it with them. It's on Rohn 55G, so, not too scary. Boom sections can be dismantled in the air and then lowered so that elements can be removed on the ground. Or some combination of these two tactics. A pickup or full-size van with ladder rack could transport the pieces home without completely unassembling the whole enchilada.

And, (2) they would intend to put it up, at their own station, and use it to kick some radio you-know-what. That way, PVRC scores go UP.

If interested, e-mail is the best way to reach me.
