If there is any singing and dancing, can someone please video tape it for the next meeting, so the ones that can't make it to the May meeting can see it? :-D
And what does SMERSH stand for?
Sorry that I can't make it for the May meeting, but I hopefully plan to make it for June - August. I heard through the grapevine, that there might not be any meetings in July and August, will there at least be some informal ones there? If there is a vote, I vote to have the meetings. That way we don't interrupt service with the management of Manchesters and I would like to attend them, since I can't always make the meetings in other months.
The only updates for me is that I worked the CQ WPX SSB last March (old news, but I missed the last meeting) and I made 225 QSOs. Plus I helped Bruce with one of his towers to put up a 40m beam. I also got to view Steve's impressive Rohn 55 tower. :-)

Unfortunately, will probably miss the May Day meeting and the scene of
overfed capitalist hams dancing around the maypole at Manchesters and
singing the Internationale with unauthorized Yankee Imperialist lyrics.
Hopefully the meeting next year will occur on a more auspicious Cinquo de
Maio.
My radio activity this month has consisted only of being the subject of a
probable spy mission relating to SS and SO2R and a gross invasion of privacy
by KA1ARB, AA4NC and N4YDU for the alleged purpose of creating a video of
members ham shacks. Notwithstanding, after some 807's and snacks, the agents
from SMERSH calmed down and we had an enjoyable evening. I assume the
microfilm and other evidence will soon be released and my name cleared.
Activity for May will be participating in the team effort in WPX-CW from
NY4A.
73,
Jim, K4QPL (in meeting minutes aka K4QLP)
