I think I might have done the same   ;-)

Actually, I have found that it is much easier not to use a radio for
this 
contest. Simply log all stations appearing on cluster and after logging 
them, spot them. Seeing your spot without a matching entry will cause
most 
to be so concerned with an apparent NIL that they will also put you in
their 
log, thereby confounding the log checkers.
