[PVRCNC] PVRC/NC Meeting tomorrow, Thursday September 6th

The East chapter of PVRC/NC has its regular meeting on Thursday 
September 6th.  That would be tomorrow as I write this--but not 
necessarily tomorrow when you are reading it.   So, if you are reading 
this on Friday the 7th--you missed it.

Since we may well be lacking the stoic leadership of our chairman K4QPL, 
I'm sure there will be a QRM filled atmosphere worthy of a late night 
barn-yard SSB frequency fight.  Not to worry--surely the tuner-uppers 
and frequency cops will come on frequency to restore order at some point....

Sharpen your pencils, click your pens, borrow a dull crayon from the 
scribe--and don't miss the challenge of the W0UCE Paper Contest.  K4QPL 
has knocked himself out of contention for a three-fer.  So--if you guess 
creatively enough you could well walk away with the honor of beating out 
K4CIA, the widely renowned sage of all arcane amateur radio trivia and 
picayunes.  Ties go to entries NOT done in crayon.

Who knows--stranger things have happened.  Guests and interested persons 
welcomed to join in.  Road-trippers are also welcomed.

Where:
We meet at Manchester's Bar and Grill in North Raleigh.  Manchesters Bar
and Grill is located at 9109 Leesville Road, Raleigh  27613.
Manchesters is in the Pinecrest Shopping Center which is 0.8 miles south
on Leesville from the Leesville Road exit of I-540.

When:
The "official" meeting time is 6:00 pm, Thursday September 6th, but will
actually be somewhat later whenever K4QPL or his seconds decide to cut 
through the usual high level of QRM.  Feel free to come a bit early to 
add to the QRM and quaff an 807....
