[PVRCNC] Proposed By-Laws: Planned Vote Monday December 3rd at Holiday Dinner

Dear PVRC Members;

I truly appreciate the time several members have spent
reviewing our by-laws (past and present) and making
recommendations for improvements.

Our plans are to submit the proposed new by-laws to a
vote by membership this Monday evening at our Holiday
Dinner, and this will conclude a multi-month process
that was undertaken by your Trustees and Officers.

Our main goal with these by-law revisions is to change
the leadership component of them to be consistent with
the way Club leadership runs today:  Your PVRC
Officers are leading the club, and the PVRC Trustees
are in an advisory role, as well as an important
check/balance role with the Officers.  

Other changes have been made, and for those
interested, the entire by-laws, old, new, and explicit
changes have been well documented at:

Several members have commented that even the proposed
by-laws could stand a major re-write.  I agree, and
this could be an (extremely!) abitious undertaking in
the future.
