[PVRCNC] Re: SS ' phone submissions

Hi Steve,

Welcome to PVRC country! Glad you were able to get into SS from here this 
year.

Unfortunately, to comply with ARRL club competition rules, all scores 
submitted must be from "members in good standing." This means membership 
must exist at the time of the contest.  Under our rules one applies and 
attends two meetings.

Wish I had known earlier that you were in the area. We have another new 
member, K4XD who travels and can't make our first Thursday of the month 
meetings. He attended another chapter meeting in the DC area and then 
attended a "Meeting on the Air" on 75M just last week to squeeze in his 
requirements.

Would be great to have you in the club and there will be other opportunities 
to contribute. If you can, try to attend our next meeting the first Thursday 
in Dec. Details at www.pvrcnc.org . If not, let me know and we'll find a way 
to get together. At some point in the process please complete the online 
membership application which is also on the web site.

I'm copying this to our NC listserve so other local members can know you're 
in the area.
