More's the pity.... I deploy to YI9-land on the First of June.... and of
course, no hamming allowed there, now. Sigh.

Howie, I've still got that big roll of hardline for your station; I
mentioned it to Jim & Guy at the last meeting I went to. I can't move it,
but if you can arrange to pick it up (6 ft spool - almost 1,300 ft! - of
Commscope CR1070, 50-Ohm, 7/8 (nominal; about 1 1/8 in OD actually), GOOD -
and unused - stuff). Surplus Sales in Nebraska has connectors.

I saw where someone bought a K3 Elecraft at Dayton - did they have them
physically there? Or were they pre-selling? The original info had them
available in July, is why I ask. I will be buying one while I'm deployed,
unless some major flaw or other reason rears it's ugly head.

See you all in fall 2008, and GL in the 'tests!

Please mark your calendars for the first weekend in June.

Rules are basically the same as last year with a few tweaks.

In honor of our true 60th year PVRC stations will sign "/60".

Special calls W3GRF, W4KFC, W3AU, and W7YS will all count as multipliers.

Some folks will want to hold to the traditional reunion and S&P for
just PVRC, go for it !
