Jeff,

Your E-mail address bounced.

Here is some info.

XYL and I were there about 5 years ago for our 35th anniversery. We
also went to Bar Harbor and the mountain tourist attraction in the
vicinity of Baa Harbar. Got to the top of the mountain which was
socked in a fog bank.

That was in early Sept after the tourists had gone.

XYL and I liked it because of the solitude and the beautiful rock
features. After a few days I got tired of looking at rocks but the XYL
didn't. She wants to go back. It was quite interesting that every
little inlet and bay had different size rocks. Rocks were all polished
and rounded like they had been tumbled. It was almost as each had
experienced a different geologic history. We are not typical tourists
and really don't schedule events on holiday. So we just drove around
and spent time at whatever was of interest. The water there was
unbelievably clear (and cold!). There was only one beach there with
sand-- called Sand Beach. The rest of the beaches were pebbles to fist
sized rocks-- ouch.
No matter only the teenagers and younger actually could stand the water.

Not much open after September. Finding a place to eat on Sunday evening
was a challenge.
