[PVRCNC] BS7H question

Barry,

FULLY understand.
Worked them on CW and SSB this morning with a nice 59 signal
here on cw and 57-58 on SSB..
I have recordings of them if you want to hear them....

To answer your question....

1) Not sure...there is a reason BS7 is number one on the
list...they are limited in what antennas THEY can erect...
If you have a Large Tribander up 50 feet ...yes I personally
think you will get through eventually. Right now....until
they work the "EDGE" off of EU and JA...they are GOING to be
rambunctious. That is for sure... AND if you don't have an
amp...this one will be VERY HARD from the east coast!

2) If you look at sunrise/sunset times and go off of general
prop to THAT region...of the world....20M mornings are going
to be likely the best....you have to be ready
though..because they go from NON AUDIBLE to S7 in about 10
minutes or so in the mornings!...

Last night on 20M they were there workable but I don't feel
for those with "modest" antennas. I will say that without
an amp this one will be MOST difficult!

TIP...really an observation....The op on SSB this morning
was saying he was listening 210-230 when in fact he was
PARKED on 210....Just because you see someone spot they
worked him on freq "X".....may or may not be true.....

So....if YOU can NOT hear the station being worked....find a
clear spot...have some patience....ALSO, if you CAN NOT HEAR
anyone he is working...do NOT move around......as you may
move when he comes to the FREQ you WERE just on! <smiling>

Good Luck and Good Hunting.....

Don't panic yet!
