Very interesting.  I think there are only a few members in the DC/MD/PA
area that don't like the circle shift down towards here though.  I
doubt they would separate NC with the rest of PVRC too, but in case
they do...

In the medium category, we can submit up to 50 logs, so that allows for growing room and some current additional logs.

As
stated by ARRL, we can either do a 175 mile circle or one ARRL section
(i.e. NC).  The section would be easier to maintain too, but we'll
probably exceed 50 logs and someone would have to coordinate with
everyone else on what the top 50 logs would be to submit for the club.  Otherwise we'll get pushed into the unlimited category.

It'll be interesting to see the outcome of the circle in the next few months.  I hope it all works out.  I bet we'll have a big discussion on it at this week's meeting.  :-)

With a chapter score of 2.6meg and 36 logs, NC-PVRC would be #3.
