[PVRCNC] tower permit in Orange County

Has anybody successfully received a permit to install a ham tower in 
Orange County, NC?  If so, I'd love to get your input on what worked. 
I'm putting up a 70 foot tower this summer, and I'd like to get a 
permit in order to eliminate any neighborhood actions.  I'm now in 
the middle of the process with the Planning Department and it doesn't 
seem bad at all, but I want to be sure I don't make any missteps.
