Okay, here's a repeat post of my log, with soapbox, since the first cut 
and paste was garbled beyond recognition-(aka-FUBAR).

I got a slow start.  The frequency I'd been sitting on monitoring 
suddenly had a W6 calling CQ just as I started CQ'ing myself.  I spent 
the first few minutes looking for better.  Apologies to K2AV if I 
stepped on his toes before I settled in on 7051025.  I called CQ for 
quite a while before the speeders discovered the Gator lurking in the 
weeds and cattails along the bayou....

The toughest Q of the stations I worked was AB4PP.  That was really 
tough copy for Gator, and it looks like I blew the exchange anyway.  It 
would also be interesting to find out if there were stations that tried 
to call, but I could not hear.   So if you guys get any reports from 
friends to that effect, please pass them on.

This was my first try with a QRP event, but it was a lot of fun.  Most 
of the five-landers were quite strong, and I only had trouble with QSB 
on one of them. The QSB on N6RO was a challenge.  He went from loud to 
lost to loud again.  I can  only imagine  how poor my signal was on his 
end--I'm sure his antenna is better than mine and made the circuit possible.
