[PVRCNC] DX Contest and Packet Cluster

One of the DX stations made a comment that I was thinking about.

When a station gets posted on Packet Cluster, most people just click
on it and go to the station.  Multiply that times 50 or more people
doing the same thing you and end up with a single tone that no one can
understand.

What I did over the weekend was to click on the station and tune up or
down a little just to seperate myself.  Every time I did this I was
first or second to get an answer.

Being on this end I could tell when I was spotted as well.  Too many
stations zero beating and it was hard to seperate.  Hense I would have
to send ?? a number of times to get people seperated.

Just a thought.....  and maybe everyone is doing it already...
