[PVRCNC] Weatherproof enclosures - (almost) free to good home

I bought some tamper-resistant, weatherproof enclosures for a very cheap
price at a local bargain store. The enclosures are Siecor CAC 7600
Telephone Network Interface boxes (manufactured by Corning), which are used
by telcos at subscriber locations. I plan to use a couple of them for
tuning & switching circuits at the base of my antennas.

I don't know if anyone is interested but I have a half dozen extra
enclosures to (almost) give away to PVRC members. Just like on Priceline,
you can "name your own price" and the highest offers (greater than $1 each)
win. Unlike Priceline, all proceeds go to PVRC...so feel free to bid
generously ;-) Send your bids or any questions directly to me. If you bid
and win, I will bring your enclosure(s) to the January meeting.

The enclosures are brand new. They are gray in color with entry grommets
in-place. Here is a link to a Corning enclosure that is similar to the
Siecor ones: http://tinyurl.com/2oeoj2 A key difference is that the Siecor
enclosures are deeper. Dimensions are (HxWxD): 10.25 x 8.5 x 4.75 in. The
interior is roughly 7.5 x 6.5 x 3.5 in. There are only a few parts to
remove on the interior to make room for your circuits. If you need a photo
or two of the actual enclosures, let me know.
