[PVRCNC] Slow QSO rate

Guys,

If you want something that makes QSO's slower than SS on Sunday afternoon:

Try JT65A digital operation.

Have been playing with it.  Takes a minimum of about 5 minutes to make 
one QSO.
Yeah, one can make a QSO when the other signal is 20 db below the RX 
noise. 

If BPL ever gets here, one may need such a mode to recover an S9 
signal.  Is this what the ARRL is talking about when they consider the 
future to all digital?

It was interesting to me to see how far below the noise one could pick 
out a signal by ear.
My best was about 10 db below the noise.

I guess 137KHz QRSS QSO's are even longer at several hours/exchange.
