Comments:

I put in as much operating as I could over the weekend - what great 
conditions.  I'm still getting my code speed back up ,but it got 
noticeably better by Sunday.  And I'm having fun learning to use 
paddles (thanks to Jim, K4QPL) - they are a great improvement over my 
straight key.

For those of you that slow down to match slow speed callers like me - 
it helps a lot.  I don't remember any PVRC'ers who didn't slow down, 
but many other stations would blast their report back to me at 25-30 
WPM (or faster) after I answered at 10-15 WPM.  I would ask for a 
repeat and end up slowing them down.  One thing that did work was 
when some stations would put a longer pause between digits without 
reducing speed.  It worked for me and didn't require them to adjust 
any knobs.
