Bob,
First of all...THANK YOU for the hard and often under-recognized work you do
to keep the cluster in our area up and connected. It's been a lot of fun
through the years. When I first moved to NC in 1989...there was no cluster and
we (dxer's) hung out on a local FM frequency. Then a handful of SWAN ISLAND
fellas got a cluster going (NO0T, etc..) It was exciting times to see what
was happening in the early 90's on the RF cluster. However, IMHO, with the
increase in net use and all the telnet sites available, it's much easier and
more reliable to connect via a web link rather than RF. I do both on occasion
but prefer the dependability of the web. Like others have said, it would be
great if you chose to keep the web link up and running but I for one, could
not fault you in the least if you decided it wasn't worth the effort.
Again...thank you for all the work, effort, and support through the years.
73,
jeff nx9t
