[PVRCNC] Raleigh Hamfest April 22

Thanks to Bert, N4CW, attending the Raleigh Hamfest (RARSfest) has special
attractions for PVRC members. Bert has reserved and paid for three tables,
with an AC power strip, for use by members. Bert will negotiate your
"contribution" depending on your requirements. This will give a lot of
flexibility and savings compared to getting your own table. Bert and others
will also help with setup and having a group at the tables will make it
easier to get out and about while someone watches your stuff. Please support
the club tables as we have booked these "on faith" that they will be used
and contributions made to the cost. If you have several items, contact Bert
directly n4cw at aol.com to confirm adequate space. If you only have a couple
items, just bring them along. Setup is available Saturday afternoon and
evening and again from 6 on Sunday.

A banner will make our location easy to find. A log will be there for
members and visitors to sign in. Drop by any time, but make a special effort
to gather at 11 a.m. Sunday to greet friends. Wear your PVRC badge and talk
contesting to anyone who will listen!

We offer a special welcome to PVRC'ers from other chapters. If anyone is
planning to come to Raleigh and stay over Saturday night, please let me
know. If there is enough interest we may organize a gathering at a nearby
watering hole to grab some 807's and talk contesting.

We'll also be sending out more info and reminders as the hamfest gets
closer.
