[PVRCNC] Regrets...

All,

My regrets - I'm not able to make it tonight. Work didn't get busy until
about 1530... so 1800 in Raleigh (1.5 hrs, more or less, from Fayetteville),
after getting home at 1800, just doesn't compute.

My news for the month: I upgraded and got a Vanity Call, using my Alaska
address, of AL4T. It's a lot shorter than K0BHC, and seems to be heard well
in the Montenegro pileups, anyway! However, bowing to pressure from the Call
Sign legions, I have found another 2x1 4-district call I've applied for.
I'll tell you what it is after it's granted.

I'm also building a BC Trapper (wire version of the Battle Creek Special)
for 40/80/160. I'll be using as many elevated radials as my wife will
allow... at least 30, for sure. I've got Teflon Coax for the traps, 10 gauge
for the antenna itself, and stainless hardware. I'd *like* for it to stay up
for a while!
