[PVRCNC] 4Q2OM

4Q2OM is the alleged Dxpedition callsign of one Gary Hext K4UU (ex: WB4
Funny Little Bast#@d). If I am not mistaken, his exact QTH is somewhere
around "the Punjab region". His handle is Puar (Pi$$ up a rope). 4Q2OM
is quite rare and he usually surfaces only for eyeball QSOs very late at
night at places like the suites at Dayton. As far as the Dxpeditions,
Puar prefers to operate "Romeo style". That is, you never quite know
where he really is, but he has a rare callsign and it always very clear
where to send the green stamps!
Do not be fooled by 4Q2OM pirates such as K9VV, K9PG, etc. They are just
slims. The real deal Dayton experience is when an 807 fueled 4Q2OM
starts running the pileups in the hall. DX is!!

Very good Keith!

Back in the late 80's, during one of my first trips to Dayton. I met
up with some contesting buddies from Georgia (W4, not 4L) who
introduced me to the wonders of the hospitality suites downtown. I was
somewhat star struck seeing all the calls and faces I had previously
only see in the pages of QST and CQ.

We ran into one fellow in the hallway, who my friends obviously knew
as they began chating. He had a call badge - 4Q2OM. I kept racking my
brain trying to figure out what country 4Q was. I still don't know who
he was, but obviously a DX'er with a sense of humor.
