CQWW plans were discussed. Robert, Ed and Henry completed a chunk of work on
Sunday, dropping the 2L 40 and the A3S off the 40 tower and putting the
Force 12 C3E up on same tower. Repairs will be made on the 2l 40 (cap hats
tightened and screws in the boom to prevent element rotation).

Don reported that Robert found a problem in the top 15M antenna- hopefully
just water in the connector. 

All computers were installed and updated with software, and have been
working well.

Only thing left is putting the 40 back up, putting A3S fixed NE on the 20
meter tower, and running tests on all. Robert's work schedule is going to
get ugly, so time is limited. 

A poll was taken on remaining ops for WW. Don is out, Tom will have the
packet link ready, John will be camped out there all weekend for subbing, as
well as Dan. Ed is questionable, and we're trying to get David to commit to
a slot. Austin and Megan are willing to assist.  

Anyone in PVRC with WW experience who is interested in a daytime run slot at
W4WS M/S can contact Henry W2DZO for further info.

The Pfafftown Hamfest is coming up on October 8, and many of us will be
working on that event.

W2DZO circulated a list on famous and infamous hams he found on the
internet- very interesting. It was also announced that the next FARC club
meeting will feature the video "To Win the World", the story of the 1982
CQWW SSB contest from Buzz Reeves K2GL monster contest station in Tuxedo,
NY. 

The last pitcher was tipped, the last wing gnawed and meeting adjourned at
8:45PM.
