Comments: Had no intention to do a full effort so did not have a great
Friday. But the band seemed good with lots of loud west coast signals so I
stayed with it. To indicate how poor my Friday effort was I doubled my Qs on
Saturday! DX was there but hard to get their attention. UU7J and EA8CAC were
in for a long time but cold not be worked. Heard several DX stations S&Ping
but did not find them settled in anywhere. I finally found a clear frequency
lower in the band and had several Europeans call me which was nice. All in
all a much more fun contest then I thought it could be. The Orion once again
worked flawlessly as did my new to me Alpha 91b. Beverages and a K9AY array
were essential to hear well.
