I'd like to add my congratulations to the new officers, and if any of
you want to undertake a little DXpedition, to join me in YA-land for a
meeting... no great food or cold drinks, but it's impressive for it's
rare-ness... I had my FT1K all packed up in a shock-mounted rack case
to bring, but was told at the last minute to take it out of the
container... So I'm going to build a K2/100 I think, while I'm here.
It will fill up the few minutes of free time I have each day, and be
quite worthwhile when I finish it.
I'm also learning Visual Basic and writing a database interface, and a
control program for remote antenna switches and stackmatches. The
hardware for that was easy to figure out - learning to program PIC
microchips and VB is a bit more time consuming.
Ya'all take care - I'll see you in 10 months.
73,
Brad
