[PVRCNC] August Meeting (THIS THURSDAY/6pm)

Greetings!
 
Only a few more days until or August meeting.  Those who attended last  month 
can surely attest to the great time we had at our new location  (Manchesters 
off Leesville Road in North Raleigh) and lively evening  activities.  If you 
weren't able to make it last month, please try to make  it this Thursday so 
that you can find out where we are meeting these days and  how the meetings are 
gaining a "new life."  We had 14 in attendance last  month, let's try to top 
that this week!
 
The festivities begin at 6pm (you can show up earlier if you'd like).   We 
order off the menu and there are plenty of choices at various price  levels.  
 
This months "program" consists of:
 
    1) Show and Tell:  Share yoru favorite station  accessory via a short 
"presentation" of  the device or software  program.  If you prefer not to bring 
the actual item in, try to bring a  photo of manual that shows the gizmo.
 
    2) PVRCNC Monthly Meeting Paper Contest: N4AF will  once again issue a 
Crossword Challenge and W0UCE will provide a "Name the  Componet Quiz."  Last 
months winner (KA1ARB) surely enjoyed his prized  "807s."  It's a lot of 
fun....come and play!
 
    3) Additional copies of "Howie's Contest Calendar"  will be available if 
you missed getting one last month or weren't at the  meeting. 
     
    4)  IMPORTANT DISCUSSION ITEMS.
