PVRCNC West Minutes


The PVRCNC West Chapter held its monthly meeting on April 26,2004 at
Cobalt's Eats and Drinks.

The meeting was brought to order at 8:10pm. by W2DZO. The 2004 NC QSO
PARTY was the first topic of discussion as the FORSYTH AMATUER RADIO
CLUB sponsors the event and W2DZO/Henry is also the chairman/score
checker/organizer of the event! Henry deserves a big thanks for all he
does for amateur radio.  The report was that it was a huge success with
lots of participation.  Plaques and certificates will be going out
shortly.

Other topics discussed include our upcoming trip to Dayton, and also
work to be done on W4WS for the upcoming contest season.

A good time was had by all and the meeting was adjourned at 9:00pm.The
usual extended truths and technically minded exchange of info was the
order of the remainder of the evening as 73's were given on
the 146.640 repeater on the drive home!!!
