Dear Bob:

    On the PS/1 (versus PS/2) usually taking off the battery for ten minutes will cause the bios to reset.

     Another solution is to try using the boot-up disk and try deleting files cmospwd.c, cmospwd.exe, cmospwd.txt, cmospwd_nt.exe and/or instdrv.exe.  (This is one of solutions for the PS/2 OS.)

Does anyone know how to get past the password in a PS/1 IBM Machine.???

I was given one for using my EPROM burner, but I cant get the thing to  
run without a password.  I have removed the battery, but no  
help.....PLEASE..!!!!!
