Is this pathetic or what?? Last year, after log checking, we had 87 cw logs
for 7,300,356. So far we're at 50 for 4,259,348. I sure hope there are a lot
of good logs still out there, but I fear for the worst.
If we're a contesting club, I'd sure like to see more members seriously
contesting in Sweepstakes, especially cw. OK, so we haven't won the World
Series for a couple years. Are we crybabies and quitters?
Let's not be satisfied with past glory and let's don't relegate ourselves in
the future to the cellar club equivalent of the Cubs or the Red Sox. Let's
make up some lost ground in phone SS. And if phone results aren't sufficient
to recover from what looks like an absolutely sorry cw performance, then
let's resolve to do better next year.
