Guys,

Look at the following link describing the HAARP program antennas. The
so called High Freq Active Auroral Research program operates in the
2.8 - 10 MHz range.

I guess with sunspot activity down they had to recently increase their
power from 960kW to 3.6 Megawatts.

Howie, you might get some ideas on how to suspend more elements (and
make the pattern steerable) from those guys.
