Hi Folks,
Just a quick note--I spent this morning with my Dad, WA4FJK, putting
together our TH6 in the backyard. We got it all put together and
measured everything according to the manual for the mid-band settings,
and everything's good on 10m. However, 15m and 20m are shot. Somehow,
the resonant frequency according to the MFJ analyzer is low on 15m
(19MHz) and high on 20m (15MHz). Looking at the diagram that I have, I
think the problem is with the rearmost element on the yagi, which acts
as a reflector on 15m and 20m. There are a pair of 15m traps on that
element, which makes me think there may be a problem with one or both of
those traps.

I'd appreciate any information you could provide from these figures, and
of course I'll be glad to provide any more information that I have or
can make up. However, what I'd really like, as you might imagine, is
somebody or some bodies who is/are willing to come out for an hour or so
one evening and lend your expertise for a few moments.

I'm located near Rolesville and can provide directions if you're
interested. If you'd like to come later this week, I'll be gone but my
Dad will be here. You can contact him at [email protected]
or [email protected] in the evenings.

I'd really love to have this in the air and working before phone SS,
since it's looking like it's not happening for CW SS this afternoon.
Back to the doublet for that one, I guess.

Thanks for the bandwidth, and 73.
