[PVRCNC] Will miss NC meeting, Father in bad shape in Kentucky

Folks,

Hate to miss the meeting, but I'm having to travel to Kentucky with my
brother to be with my Father. Jim, WW4M, typically can't get there
until half-way in. So will need someone to step up and run things, and
take attendance and some notes. Give them to Jim when he gets there.

My father has been in a nursing care facility in Beattyville, Ky for a
while, and has started a very sudden and drastic weight loss. So much
so that a regular weekly visitor was startled by the change in only
one week and had to enquire about it with the medical staff. They sent
him out today for some special tests.

Haven't been able to see him for a while. So we are taking the first
break in the weather to drive out.

Sorry about the notice, but only found out about this two days ago
(when the visitor did) and have been in a dither since trying to
arrange the trip, and was not sure when everything would fall into
place.


More about the meeting:

K4JA will possibly be at the meeting. If he is, ask him to spend some
time explaining how they run their multi-two operation. They have
turned in a string of stellar M/2 scores there. That has to be
antennas, station, ops, and procedures. Has to be well worth the
hearing.

If K4JA does do an impromptu on his operation, would be really neat if
someone gets some audio or video tape on it?
