[PVRCNC] KI7WX NC QTH For Sale

Hi Gang,

As many of you know, I maintained ownership of my home and station in Raleigh, NC when Jan and I moved to California a couple years ago. We kept the house as we hoped to return to NC, and KO7X was available to house sit. For various reasons, it does not appear that we will return to NC in the near term, so with reluctance we've decided to put the home on the market. 

Of course this is only of interest to PVRC members because the house happens to come with a 105 foot Rohn 55G tower, a 45 foot Rohn 25G tower, and various monoband yagis for 10-40 meters. The station plays quite well and the neighbors are ham friendly. Although I wasn't there long enough to pursue the low bands properly, the lot is about 2.5 acres and there is room for good length Beverages in key directions (EU, SA, West).

The house itself is 2666 sq feet and best described as a custom contemporary. Those of you that saw it when we moved in know that we did a lot of updating and improvements to the property. It's a neat place and we really liked the location in North Raleigh. K4QPL, K4CIA and N4CW are all with in a few miles of this QTH.

We are pricing the house appropriately given the local market, and if a ham was interested in this property we would work out inclusion of the towers and yagis. If anyone is interested, or knows of someone who might be serious about obtaining a pre-built HF station in Raleigh, please do contact me directly.
