First attempt at using "modern" software - N1MM logger.  Everything
worked OK.  The W3LPL telnet site was great.  

Not a particularly good "mouser" and it took some time to get used to
the mouse for S&P.  (there is no "logit only" function key for S&P!). 
Well worth the effort since the bandmap worked just fine (unlike CT). 
It was like cheating.  However, that guilt feelling quickly
disappeared.  Maintaining focus in the logging window was not the
problem I anticipated.  Now to figure out how to arrange windows to
avoid the "kink in neck" problem that wasn't a part of full screen CT
DOS contesting. 

Cost was right.  At a minimum, it is a preview of the
problems/benefits one might have if WRITELOG is being contemplated.  

Second time in my contesting life to work 100 countries on 4 bands.

Had some problem the first night on 80M with the new internal modem
hanging up after a few contacts.  Grounded telephone line shields to
rig ground and grounded the new computer box.  Problem went away. 
Have to see which cure was the fix.
