Just in time for SS: If you are using a Windows logging program, or have a
second computer on your desk with Windows if you're running a DOS program,
this freeware gives elapsed time at a glance and is an easy backup for that
scratch pad and trying to figure out how much time is left when the brain
begins to have trouble with simple arithmetic! Two things. First you must
download the vbasic program, then the timecard and install. Second, for time
off in a contest, be sure to click "Pause" NOT "Stop". Stop will reset
elapsed time to 0, which might be nice for your score, but probably wouldn't
pass muster with the log checkers. You'll still have to check your watch for
the minimum half hour off time, and I'd still use the old yellow pad in case
you forget to click.
