[PVRCNC] PHONE SS

Phone SS is THIS WEEKEND in case the lack of postings about it has made you
forget.

Don't worry about the Midwest gang. Remember our old rivals, NCCC, will be
in there as well. All the regular PVRC'ers, plus a few hundred QSO's each by
everyone else, including those who can only get involved part time, can make
a HUGE difference in our club aggregate score.

As for me, SS has always been mainly a low power cw thing and I've never put
in a lot of time on phone contesting. This year, with thanks to Howie, N4AF,
I'll be down at Blount's Creek operating his superstation in SS Phone with
my callsign.

Be sympathetic and try not to ask out loud, "Who's the lid with the big
signal?"
