I'm told by N6TV that the HRO in Sunnyvale has some new folks working there that are not doing so well. That might explain Pete's frustration.
As an aside, I wouldn't expect folks to know loss in db/100 feet for cable. Although I personally know off the top of my head that it is 0.7db for LMR400, 0.42db for LMR600 and 0.36db for 1/2 Heliax. All at 30MHz of course. I consider this type of knowledge to place one well into the "mutant" catagory.
For short runs of rotor control cable I like the stuff sold for controlling your home sprinkler system (Lowes or HomeDespot). 5x18ga and it's meant to be buried too. Will be fine for a 120 foot run. I used a couple runs of the 7 conductor stuff up my bigger tower. I might even have enough left on one of the rolls for your application. Feel free to check with Alan.
Davis RF has a relationship with TheWireman so you can get stuff shipped in from Press' South Carolina shop most of the time. It takes about 2 days to get most things. I've had good luck with both outfits.
FRYs is a kick butt place for connectors and such. They even sell heat shrink tubing in rolls.
And finally, just for AD4L - I bought 100 feet of decent quality RG-11 for making matching lines. Hook up with KO7X and get the 15 feet you need for 15M. You can owe me a beer. I think K3KO was the last to dip into this particular stash of 75 ohm line.
