Power finally is restored as of 1434Z this morning.  The silence is
deafening.  Will we be able to sleep without a 6500W generator droning in
our ears?

Time without power:  5 days 10 hours  (I think I counted it right this time)

Number of generator feedings: 30

Gallons of gasoline consumed:  120

Number of generator oil changes:  2

Number of CP&L busted repair estimates: 6

Number of CP&L "Your power is back, do you agree?" cheerful, automated phone

Number of CP&L cheerful, automated phone calls when the power was actually
back:  0

Number of CP&L truck sightings in the neighborhood:  Finally saw one Monday
in a church lot and a whole pile of them today when they finally fixed the
line

DVDs watched today:  None. Today MUST be laundry day.

Current blood pressure:  135/85
