Current status:  No power. Phone works

Time without power:  5 days 20 hrs

Number of generator feedings: 28

Gallons of gasoline consumed:  112 ($150+)

Number of generator oil changes:  1

Number of CP&L busted repair estimates: 5

Number of CP&L "Your power is back, do you agree?" cheerful, automated phone
calls:  4

Number of CP&L truck sitings in the neighborhood:  Finally saw ONE today. It
was sitting in a church parking lot.  Must have been getting help from a
higher authority.

DVDs watched today:  Hunchback of Notre Dame (we're getting desparate)

Number of emails sent to NC government officials and CP&L:  12

Number of responses to emails:  NC(4), CP&L(0)

Current blood pressure:  155/95
